Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tendering Specialist based in Hyderabad. The Tendering Specialist will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process for government and infrastructure projects, including identifying tender opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating documentation, and ensuring timely submission of bids.
The role involves working closely with internal departments, vendors, consultants, and government authorities to support successful project acquisition. The candidate should be capable of handling e-procurement portals, tender documentation, BOQs, compliance requirements, and bid coordination efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, participate in, and track tender opportunities related to government and infrastructure projects
- Study BOQs, eligibility criteria, tender specifications, and contract conditions thoroughly
- Prepare and submit technical, commercial, and compliance-related tender documents
- Ensure adherence to GHMC, HMDA, and Telangana government procurement norms and guidelines
- Upload tender documents accurately on e-procurement portals within specified deadlines
- Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, and vendors for required documentation and approvals
- Maintain organized tender records, trackers, submissions, and supporting documentation
- Monitor tender status, clarifications, corrigendums, and post-submission follow-ups
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in tendering and government procurement processes
- Strong knowledge of e-procurement portals, BOQs, tender documentation, and compliance procedures
- Experience handling government infrastructure, civil, or construction-related tenders preferred
- Expertise in Tender Management, Procurement, and Bid Coordination
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and documentation handling
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
