Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process for domestic and international opportunities. The role includes identifying relevant tenders, reviewing tender documents, coordinating with internal stakeholders for technical and commercial inputs, and preparing compliant, competitive proposals. The Tendering Specialist will track submission timelines, ensure proper documentation, and maintain tender records and databases. Daily tasks also involve collaborating with sales, finance, and engineering teams to align bids with company capabilities, participating in pre-bid meetings when required, and supporting post-tender clarifications and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Strong tender management and procurement skills, including experience in handling public and private sector tenders.
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating tender requirements, costs, risks, and competitive positioning.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and engaging with clients and authorities.
- Proficiency in proposal writing, including drafting technical and commercial bid documents and ensuring compliance with tender specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; exposure to industrial equipment or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work with MS Office and tender portals, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with government e-procurement systems and familiarity with contract terms and compliance requirements is beneficial.
- Capacity to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Experience: 5 - 7+ years
Preferred Industry Experience: Power / Railways / Defence
Key Requirements
* 5–7+ years of experience in *tendering and registration* in a similar industry.
* Experience handling *Government / PSU tenders, especially in **Power, Railways and Defence* sectors.
* Knowledge of tender documentation, EMD, technical/commercial bids, registrations and vendor empanelment.
* Ability to track tenders, coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely submission.
* Experience with *GeM, CPPP and other government tender portals* preferred.
* Strong follow-up, documentation and coordination skills.
NOTE: Candidates with existing exposure to major *PSUs, Government Departments and Power Sector organizations will be preferred.
