Role Description The Tendering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end tender process for interior and related civil projects. Day-to-day tasks include identifying relevant tender opportunities, analyzing project requirements, and preparing tender documents, proposals, and cost estimates aligned with company standards and client expectations. The role involves coordinating with project, procurement, and sales teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, ensuring accurate pricing, compliance with specifications, and timely submission of bids. The Tendering Manager will maintain tender databases, track bid status, support negotiations, and contribute to bid presentations, while continuously refining tender strategies to improve win rates and profitability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tender Management and Tender Preparation, including bid strategy, documentation, and compliance review.
- Candidates should possess skills in Procurement and Project Management to coordinate materials, costs, timelines, and resource requirements for tendered projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sales and client relationship management to support bid presentations, negotiations, and conversion of awarded tenders into successful projects.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and cost-estimation abilities, with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and relevant tendering or ERP tools.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams under deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, along with prior experience in tendering within interiors, construction, or fit-out projects, is highly beneficial.
