Role Description This is a full-time Tender Quantity Surveyor role based in Panchkula with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home as per business needs. The Tender Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed quantities and BOQ for tenders, analyzing drawings and specifications, and supporting tender submissions for infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include cost estimation, cost planning, and assisting in budget preparation, as well as coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate tender documentation. The role involves reviewing and verifying subcontractor and supplier quotations, maintaining cost data and rate analyses, and preparing cost reports and tender summaries for management decision-making. The Tender Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to risk assessment for tenders, support value engineering initiatives, and ensure that all tender documents comply with company standards and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong cost management skills, including Cost Control and Cost Management for infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in quantity and tender documentation, including BOQ preparation and Cost Planning.
- Candidates should possess experience in project financial oversight, including Cost Reporting and analysis of tender budgets.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of civil engineering works, drawings, and specifications related to roads, bridges, railways, and buildings.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, or a related field, is preferred; prior experience in tendering for government infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying/tendering software, along with familiarity with relevant codes and standards, will be beneficial.
