Why This Role Matters
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands tenders, institutional sales, and government procurement. You will identify opportunities, evaluate tender feasibility, build stakeholder relationships, and drive business growth across defence, universities, colleges, municipal corporations, and public infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze tender documents for technical, commercial, and compliance requirements, including eligibility, EMD, PBG, timelines, and bid risks.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in defence, police, paramilitary, universities, colleges, smart city projects, municipal bodies, and sports campuses.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical compliance, pricing readiness, documentation accuracy, and timely bid submission.
- Engage with procurement officers, consultants, sports faculty, physical education heads, and institutional decision-makers.
- Track competitor brands, pricing trends, bid patterns, and award outcomes.
- Monitor upcoming government projects and provide timely market intelligence to management.
- Prepare bid responses, compliance statements, BOQs, commercial offers, product sheets, and authorization documents.
- Support post-order activities such as installation, inspection, commissioning, and payment follow-up.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of target departments, live tenders, and key stakeholders using CRM or reporting tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in government sales, institutional sales, project sales, or tender management.
- Strong understanding of tender reading, GeM/e-procurement, EMD, PBG, and bid compliance.
- Prior exposure to fitness equipment, sports infrastructure, wellness equipment, rehabilitation equipment, or B2G selling is preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships with government departments, consultants, and institutional buyers.
- Strong commercial sense with the ability to assess bid competitiveness and risk.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, pre-bid discussions, site visits, and follow-ups.
