Manage the complete tendering process from initiation to submission for EHV transmission line projects.
Analyze tender documents, understand client requirements, and develop compliant and competitive bid strategies.
Collaborate with engineering, commercial, procurement, and legal teams to gather inputs for comprehensive techno-commercial bids.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical/commercial proposals in line with tender requirements.
Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and pricing models using MS Excel / Advanced Excel.
Evaluate tenders from a technical and commercial perspective, identifying risks, opportunities, and deviations.
Ensure all bid documents are accurately compiled, formatted, and submitted within deadlines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, OEMs, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify technical queries.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, funding agencies, and key suppliers.
Stay updated with international bidding standards, especially for projects funded by multilateral development banks (e.g., World Bank, ADB, AfDB).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering for EHV transmission lines (132kV to 765kV).
Strong knowledge of international tendering procedures, including those funded by multilateral agencies.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Advanced level), Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals for transmission EPC projects.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts or international contracting standards is a plus.
