Tender Executive – Civil & Government Projects (LGSF Construction)

About the Role
Avabiz Ventures is looking for an experienced Tender Executive who understands government tendering processes in civil and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Maharashtra government tenders, GeM portal operations, and documentation related to civil, prefab, infrastructure, or construction projects.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete tender lifecycle — from identifying opportunities to bid submission, coordination, compliance, and post-award documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Search and identify relevant tenders through:
* Maharashtra e-Tender portal
* GeM (Government e-Marketplace)
* CPWD, PWD, Smart City, ZP, Municipal Corporation, MHADA, MIDC, and other government departments
* Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial requirements
* Prepare and submit:
* Technical bids
* Financial bids
* Pre-qualification documents
* EMD/BG documentation
* Vendor registrations and certifications
* Coordinate with:
* Architects
* Structural consultants
* Accounts team
* OEM/manufacturers
* Legal/documentation teams
* Manage GeM bidding activities including:
* Bid participation
* Reverse auction handling
* Catalog management
* Product/service listing
* Order processing
* Maintain tender trackers, MIS reports, deadlines, and compliance calendars
* Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and completed within timelines
* Handle post-tender activities including LOI, work order documentation, agreements, and follow-ups
Required Experience & Skills
Mandatory Requirements
* 2–5+ years experience in government tendering
* Strong experience with:
* Maharashtra e-Tendering system
* GeM portal
* Prior experience in:
* Civil construction
* Infrastructure projects
* Prefab/LGSF/modular projects (preferred)
Technical Knowledge
* Understanding of:
* BOQ
* DPRs
* Technical specifications
* PWD/CPWD tender formats
* Civil project documentation
* Knowledge of:
* MSME benefits
* EMD exemptions
* OEM authorization
* JV/MOU documentation
* Vendor registrations
Software & Documentation
* MS Excel, Word, PDF documentation
* Tender submission portals
* Good drafting and email communication skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
* Able to handle multiple tenders simultaneously
* Strong coordination and follow-up skills
* Experience working with contractors, manufacturers, or infrastructure companies
* Familiarity with LGSF/prefab technology is an added advantage
