Role Description The Tender Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, including identifying relevant tender opportunities, gathering project requirements, and coordinating with design, project, and finance teams to compile accurate bid documents. The Tender Coordinator prepares tender submissions, checks compliance with client specifications and company standards, maintains tender registers and documentation, and tracks deadlines and follow-ups. The role also involves formatting and reviewing commercial and technical proposals, supporting negotiations, and contributing to continuous improvement of tender templates and processes to enhance win rates.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in tender preparation and coordination, including document compilation, formatting, and submission tracking.
- Proficiency in written communication, with the ability to draft clear proposals, scope descriptions, and client correspondence.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tenders, deadlines, and stakeholder inputs.
- Comfort with data and numbers, including basic costing, reading BOQs, and working with spreadsheets and tender portals.
- Ability to collaborate with design, project management, and finance teams, maintaining professional and respectful communication.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical business practices.
- Experience in interiors, construction, or architecture-related tenders is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with online tendering platforms.
