Preferred Background: Water Sector Preferred, Transportation or any other Infrastructure Sector from Consultancy Background
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender/Bid Specialist to manage the end-to-end tendering process for engineering and consultancy projects in the water sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing bids, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender/Bid Process Management:
- Study and analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and scope matrix .
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including pre bid queries, bid timeline technical and financial submissions.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, government norms, and company standards.
- Documentation & Coordination:
- Draft clarification letters, compliance checklists, JV or MOU documents and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with technical teams, finance, and legal for accurate inputs.
- Maintain tender trackers and submission schedules.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with clients, JV partners, and subcontractors for bid preparation.
- Support pre-bid meetings and client visits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in tendering/bid management, preferably in water sector or other infra sectors.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and EPC/consultancy contracts.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of e-procurement portals is a plus.
