Job Summary 

We are seeking experienced Oracle professionals with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in either Oracle APEX (Application Express) or Oracle BI Publisher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and user-friendly enterprise applications or reports, depending on their area of expertise. This role offers an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on high-impact digital transformation and analytics initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

For Oracle APEX Candidates 

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using Oracle APEX 
• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable web applications 
• Develop interactive reports, charts, forms, and dashboards 
• Perform application performance tuning and optimization 
• Ensure security best practices are followed for APEX-based applications 

For Oracle BI Publisher Candidates 

• Design and develop pixel-perfect reports using Oracle BI Publisher 
• Create and manage data models, report layouts (RTF, Excel, XSL), and bursting logic 
• Integrate BI Publisher reports with Oracle ERP (EBS/Fusion) and other platforms 
• Schedule, publish, and distribute reports using bursting and delivery mechanisms 
• Optimize report performance and ensure compliance with output formatting standards 

Basic Requirements 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in either Oracle APEX or Oracle BI Publisher 
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills 
• Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture and development lifecycle 
• Experience in enterprise environments with adherence to documentation, testing, and release processes 
• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions 
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with Oracle Fusion Applications or Oracle E-Business Suite 
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration of APEX/BIP with external systems 
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms 
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology 
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert or Oracle BI Publisher Certified Implementation Specialist) 
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools is a plus
