Data Engineer

For our renowned client, we are seeking a Data Engineer (m/f/d) in Information Technology at our Cologne location. This position is available immediately on a full-time or part-time basis via direct placement. Your future responsibilities: Integration of data sources and provision of department-specific data solutions (e.g. with Python and SQL Hana) Development and implementation of data transformation pipelines in cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure) Connecting new data sources to existing data platforms Extension of existing data solutions according to defined guidelines Supporting departments in understanding data through the use of AI What you bring with you: Completed (Bachelor's) degree in information technology or a comparable qualification Experience in data science / data engineering, especially with Python and AI tools Use of cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Fabrics, Azure Data Lake Several years of experience with SQL, preferably Hana SQL Knowledge of building data stores in data warehouse solutions and ETL data pipelines Strong communication and teamwork skills
