Job details:
We're looking for talented video editors for our Telugu YouTube channel where we create long-form (15-30 min), research-driven episodes exploring India's temple heritage in conversational Telugu.
Think deep dives into temple rituals, architecture, and sacred history — presented at a depth no one else in the Telugu space is doing.
What you'll do
You'll edit long-form episodes that combine talking-head footage with supporting visuals — temple photography, AI-generated historical animations (Kling), text overlays in Telugu, and carefully paced visual storytelling. You'll work from detailed editor's cut documents with shot-by-shot direction, visual cues, and timeline annotations.
What we're looking for
→ 1-2 years of video editing experience (YouTube long-form preferred)
→ Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
→ Native/fluent Telugu — you'll be adding Telugu text overlays and must understand the narration
→ Strong sense of pacing and intercutting between on-camera and supporting visuals
→ Comfortable with YouTube-native formats — chapters, end screens, thumbnails
→ Reliable turnaround and clear communication over remote workflows
Nice to have
→ Experience editing talking-head + B-roll style content (similar to Dhruv Rathee format)
→ Motion graphics or After Effects skills
→ Familiarity with AI-generated visuals (Kling, Runway, etc.)
→ Interest in temples, Indian history, or devotional culture
Why this is worth your time
→ Be part of something new — there's zero competition at this research depth in Telugu temple content
→ Fully remote — work from anywhere
→ Flexible freelance arrangement
→ Consistent weekly output (one episode per week) — steady, predictable work
To apply: DM me with your portfolio or reel (YouTube edits preferred), a brief intro, and your per-video or monthly rate.
