Position: Telugu Language Expert
Type: Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and translate content to and from Telugu, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Telugu language needs across communications and documentation.
- Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and language best practices.
- Provide linguistic consultation to enhance localization quality and user engagement.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency and correctness of Telugu content.
- Support training and onboarding initiatives related to Telugu language standards.
- Monitor evolving Telugu language usage trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu (written and verbal).
- Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Deep understanding of Telugu cultural nuances and regional variations.
- Proficiency in office software and language tools.
