Accountant

Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and international setting? Our client, a fast-growing European commercial group, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen their finance team in Luxembourg. What You'll Do: As a key member of the accounting team and reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial activities across multiple entities: Oversee day-to-day operations related to general accounting (GL, AP, AR) Contribute to the monthly and annual closing processes Prepare VAT returns and tax declarations in Luxembourg and abroad Ensure smooth intercompany reconciliation and coordination Monitor cash flow and support with various internal reporting needs Work closely with group entities on payment and compensation processes Maintain accurate customer and supplier account balances Help develop and improve internal controls and accounting policies About You: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles; VAT and tax experience is a plus Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Italian is an asset Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment What's On Offer: A competitive salary aligned with your experience and qualifications A hands-on role in a solid and expanding international group A collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and development
