Insurance Cross-Sell Specialist: Telesales (Life, Health & Motor)
Policy Era is currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Cross-Sell Specialist to join our growing telesales team. This position will be primarily focused on engaging in telesales with both potential and existing customers as well as ensuring a great customer experience when adding Life, Health and Motor products to their current policy.
The ideal candidate will possess strong tele-sales skills, an understanding of customer needs and will be able to convert those needs into successful policy sales.
Key Responsibilities
Telesales & Customer Engagement
- Call existing and potential customers to introduce and promote Life, Health and Motor insurance products.
- Understand customer needs and match the appropriate products to meet those needs.
- Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with your customers through consistent communication and follow-up.
Cross-Selling & Sales
- Identify new cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
- Meet monthly sales and revenue targets by effectively engaging/transforming customers to a sale.
- Clearly communicate product features/benefits/policy details to customers.
Client Relations & Service Management
- Answer client enquiries concerning the coverage provided by their policy as well as benefits offered by their policy.
- Assist in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through fast response times and assistance.
- Keep updated records of all client interactions and sales activity using CRM systems.
Operations & Compliance
- Communicate with the operations and underwriting departments while working closely with them on the timely issuance of policies.
- Ensure that all sales processes are compliant with all laws and regulations and all company policy guidelines.
- Maintain all documentation and audit reports for all sales transactions.
Required Competencies & Skills
- Persuasiveness and strong telephonic sales ability
- Ability to build good rapport with people and effectively communicate
- Customer focused with good relationship skills
- Proficient at handling objections and closing sales
- Self-driven, energetic, and target oriented
- Knowledge of basic insurance products and processes in Insurance
Eligibility Requirements
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year to 4 years in tele-sales, insurance sales or customer sales
- Previous experience selling life, health or vehicle insurance is preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (sales/business)
- Knowledge of CRM systems and basic computer uses is preferred
