Job Post- telesales Executive
Role Description
We are looking for a driven and articulate Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing sales for our portfolio of IT services and software solutions. Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting: Make high-volume outbound calls to targeted businesses and decision-makers (C-suite, IT managers, procurement heads) to introduce IT services and software solutions.
Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, research, and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, follow-up calls, and email outreach.
Product Pitching: Deliver clear, compelling, and tailored pitches for software products (SaaS, ERP, CRM, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, etc.) and managed IT services.
Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) with accurate lead and opportunity data; manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact to closure.
Needs Assessment: Conduct discovery conversations to understand client pain points, IT challenges, and business goals, and align appropriate solutions.
Objection Handling: Confidently handle objections related to pricing, competitor products, or technical concerns and steer conversations toward positive outcomes.
Follow-Up & Nurturing: Execute structured follow-up cadences via calls and email to keep prospects engaged throughout longer B2B sales cycles.
Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, technical consultants, and account managers to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities.
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs including call volume, appointments set, demos booked, and revenue targets.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to hold credible conversations with IT stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven skills in sales, telesales, and account management.
Strong communication, persuasion, and active listening abilities.
Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) tools is an advantage.
Basic understanding of digital marketing, branding, and SEO concepts is beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
Relevant experience in sales or marketing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of telesales, inside sales, or business development experience — preferably in IT services, SaaS, or technology solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar).
- Basic understanding of IT concepts — cloud computing, cybersecurity, ERP, managed services, or software licensing is a strong advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling to SMBs, mid-market, or enterprise clients.
- Ability to explain technical solutions in simple, business-friendly language.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Resilience and a positive attitude in a target-driven environment.
- Multilingual ability is an added advantage for regional outreach.
