Language Interpreter Job Details Company Teleperformance Job Role Language Interpreter Domain Customer Support & Operations Location Work from Home (System will be provided by the company) Languages Punjabi/Nepali/Tamil/French + English Salary Regional Languages (Punjabi/Nepali/Tamil): Up to 5 LPA French Language: Up to 10 LPA Shifts 24×7 Rotational (9-hour shifts) Work Days 5 days a week Week Offs 2 rotational week offs Note For French Language applicants, the following qualifications are mandatory A French language undergraduate or graduate degree A minimum B2 certification A B1 certification with at least six months of experience Key Responsibilities for Language Interpreter (1) Accurate Interpretation Pay close attention to discussions and accurately decipher exchanges between speakers of various languages. For instance: English as a second language (2) Adherence to Procedures Observe the standard operating procedures that have been set up for the organization and the process. (3) Neutrality and Impartiality To guarantee clear and objective communication, interpreters should maintain a neutral and unbiased position. (4) Active Listening To guarantee accurate interpretation, be aware of the subtleties of conversations and, if needed, ask clarifying questions. (5) Professionalism Maintain the utmost professionalism and privacy when working with private or sensitive data. Desired Candidate Profile Education:- 12th grade, a diploma, or any graduate degree is the minimum requirement. Experience:- Open to both freshers and experienced candidates Age Limit:- 19 to 45 years Required Skill Set (1) Language Proficiency Extremely good at communicating in two languages; able to translate between English and one of the target languages (French, Tamil, Nepali, or Punjabi). (2) Communication Skills Outstanding verbal communication abilities and the capacity to successfully communicate ideas. (3) Listening Skills A skilled listener who is able to accurately interpret and capture the subtleties of conversations. (4) Flexibility having a flexible and upbeat attitude and being willing to work rotating shifts, including night shifts. (5) Energetic Approach Good vibes and a proactive attitude toward resolving problems and providing high-quality services.
