Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telecaller cum Counselor role based in Gwalior. The Telecaller cum Counselor will make outbound and handle inbound calls to connect with prospective learners, job seekers, and corporate clients, explaining CertED’s training, hiring, and technology solutions. The role involves understanding candidate or client requirements, providing accurate information about programs and services, and counseling individuals on suitable courses, career paths, or service offerings. The professional will maintain call logs, update CRM or spreadsheets, follow up on leads, and support conversion of inquiries into enrollments or service agreements. The Telecaller cum Counselor will coordinate with internal teams for schedules, documentation, and feedback collection, while consistently meeting daily call targets, follow-up commitments, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and active listening skills in English and local/regional languages, with a clear and professional telephone manner.
- Customer service and counseling abilities to understand needs, address concerns, and guide individuals toward suitable programs or services.
- Basic sales and telecalling skills, including lead qualification, follow-up, and conversion of inquiries into enrollments or engagements.
- Comfort with using phones, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and other basic computer applications for data entry and record keeping.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle call volumes, track follow-ups, and meet daily and weekly targets.
- Prior experience in telecalling, counseling, inside sales, education services, or recruitment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gwalior with a positive attitude, professional conduct, and willingness to learn about technology, training, and hiring services.
