Role Description The Tele-Fundraiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The role involves making outbound calls to potential and existing supporters to raise awareness about WWF-India’s conservation work and to secure regular financial contributions. The Tele-Fundraiser will explain current campaigns, answer queries, and provide clear information to help donors make informed decisions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate call records, updating donor information in databases, and meeting daily and monthly fundraising targets. The role also involves working closely with the fundraising and communication teams, participating in regular training sessions, and providing feedback from conversations to improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage supporters, explain campaigns clearly, and build trust over the phone.
- Proven Customer Service and Fundraising abilities, including handling queries, addressing concerns, and guiding individuals toward making regular contributions.
- Basic Computer Literacy for working with CRM tools, donor databases, and online communication platforms.
- Motivation to work in a target-driven environment, with the ability to stay positive, resilient, and professional during high call volumes.
- Genuine interest in environmental conservation and social impact; prior experience in fundraising, sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with flexibility to adapt to organizational processes, training, and performance feedback.
