About the role
The L1 SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents. The analyst will perform triage and initial response to security events, escalating higher-level incidents to the appropriate teams. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents
- Perform initial triage and response to security events
- Escalate higher-level incidents to the appropriate teams
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies
- Participate in security awareness and training initiatives
- Provide support and guidance to end-users on security-related topics
