We are looking for a Tekla Modeler (Junior and Senior) with strong practical experience in structural steel detailing and hands-on capability in Tekla Structures for Australian steel projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures
• Prepare GA drawings and shop drawings
• Generate fabrication deliverables such as NC files and material reports
• Interpret structural drawings and project specifications
• Apply detailing standards and fabrication requirements
• Coordinate internally to resolve modelling and detailing issues
• Maintain drawing quality and delivery timelines
Required Candidate Profile
• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2 to 10 years of experience in structural steel detailing
• Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures is mandatory
• Ability to independently prepare GA drawings and shop drawings
• Good understanding of structural drawings and steel member arrangement
• Basic understanding of steel connections
• Experience in Australian steel detailing projects is preferred
