Role Description The Tekla Modeler will work full time on-site at the Nashik office, producing accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects using Tekla Structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering and architectural drawings, creating and updating models, generating shop and erection drawings, and coordinating with internal engineering, BIM, and detailing teams to resolve design issues. The role involves ensuring constructability, adherence to project standards and codes, and alignment with fabrication and erection requirements. The Tekla Modeler will also support quality checks, participate in project reviews, and maintain organized documentation to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modeling, detailing, and drawing generation.
- Solid understanding of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and BIM models with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with industry standards, codes, and project specifications related to steel structures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with engineers, detailers, and project managers.
- Proficiency in basic CAD/BIM tools and general computer skills for documentation and data management.
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline; relevant certifications in Tekla or BIM are an advantage.
- Prior experience in steel detailing or BIM-based structural modeling, especially for industrial or complex projects, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, commitment to quality, and readiness to work on-site in Nashik.
