IT Systems Engineer

The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical leadership and hands-on support for the deployment, integration, and management of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools within the enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS platforms, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation, along with experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and user support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient, secure, and scalable operation of SaaS tools across the organization. Key Responsibilities: SaaS Tool Management: Oversee the deployment, integration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of critical SaaS applications and services. Ensure seamless integration with internal systems and platforms. Systems Engineering: Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure, including SaaS tools, to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide advanced support for SaaS tools, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring minimal downtime. Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and implement solutions. Supporting Identity Management: Provide advanced support for Okta, and other identity engines that will be used to process users and provision them to other tools. Automation & Optimization: Implement automation and optimization strategies to improve the reliability, and performance, SaaS tools and services within the enterprise environment. Security & Compliance: Monitor, audit, and implement security measures and best practices to protect SaaS tools and data. Ensure that the tools comply with organizational security policies and relevant regulations. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with IT, operations, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure SaaS tools meet the needs of the business. Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and best practices for SaaS tools. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and end-users to enhance overall system adoption and knowledge. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate emerging SaaS technologies and trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to the organization's toolset and processes.
