About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for AMS blocks within a complex digital-centric SoC.
  • Utilize System Verilog RNM to model analog blocks and perform functional verification.
  • Conduct thorough simulations and debug issues related to analog and digital interactions.
  • Focus on verifying SoC-level use cases, particularly those involving interactions between analog blocks and digital subsystems.
  • Perform less frequent, targeted SPICE-level simulations for detailed analog analysis.
  • Apply a strong understanding of digital verification flows and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with digital verification teams to ensure seamless integration and verification of AMS blocks.
  • Create accurate and efficient RNM models of analog blocks using SystemVerilog.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of verification environments.
  • Utilize Cadence AMS/DMS tools and flows effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and running simulations within the Cadence environment.
  • Work closely with analog and digital design teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • Provide clear and concise verification reports and documentation.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in AMS verification.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with RNM modeling using SystemVerilog.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital verification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Cadence AMS/DMS flows.
  • Experience verifying complex digital-centric SoCs (approximately 75% digital, 25% analog).
  • Experience verifying block/subsystem/SOC level implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to model analog blocks using SV RNM.
  • Experience with SoC verification use cases involving analog-digital interactions.
  • Knowledge of SPICE simulations for analog verification.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific analog IP types (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs).
  • Familiarity with UVM-AMS methodologies.
