This is a 3rd shift position with training for a few months on 1st shift.
Purpose of Position:
This position is expected to be able to maintain, adjust and repair existing production equipment, including needs with installations and modifications. The technician will provide trouble-shooting and problem-solving services as required, as well as helping care for facilities services for the building and property when needed.
Position requires frequent walking, bending, kneeling, standing, etc., including ability to lift 50lb. Training and support from the maintenance and manufacturing team will be available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup of pneumatic presses for production runs.
Adjust pneumatic press setup when production problems occur.
Fill and maintain potting tanks daily.
Diagnose potting machine problems and troubleshoot/ repair as required.
Setup and maintenance of sonic welders and assemblies.
Program sonic welders for new parts and dial in settings during production when issues occur.
Remove 3D prints from printer and prep them for final curing. Cleaning of print trays.
Able to insert and accurately level print trays or change out resin vats on 3D printer.
Assemble and set up production workstations.
Maintain equipment in Injection Molding.
Facility upkeep as needed.
All other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Required:
General mechanical and electrical knowledge. Problem solving and trouble-shooting experience. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills. Self-motivation and ability to handle projects with minimal supervision required. Ability to operate safely within OSHA regulations in an industrial environment required.
Preferred:
Knowledge of pneumatics and air systems. Facilities maintenance, basic machining skills, and understanding of 5-S and lean manufacturing concepts. Experience reading mechanical drawings or schematics a plus.
Education Requirements:
High school graduate or GED. Maintenance and/or demonstrated hands-on experience a plus.
