The American Embassy School, New Delhi, has a vacancy for the Technology Specialist for Operations position in the Technology department.
Provides technical support and assistance to all AES computer users, particularly in the areas of administrative software support and development; general productivity software support; software auditing, inventory, and copyright compliance; cross-platform issues; and general OS support.
Required Qualifications and Experience:-
- Degree in computer-related field.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of school's administrative software package Should have general knowledge of software used as the standard software at AES.
- Must be able to train and lead others in the usage of software.
- Must be able to take direction from many areas and yet prioritize work to fit the needs of AES as a whole.
- This person responds to many levels of authority including the HS, ES and MS principals, MS/HS/ES librarians, HS/MS guidance counselors and director's office. Each of these areas require this position to be responsive and timely in the required duties.
- This person must work well with people from varied backgrounds and divergent levels of expertise. This position must have good communication skills.
Compensation: The position offers a competitive starting salary of INR 18,10,770/- per annum. Additional benefits, such as insurance and a bonus, will be provided.
