We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Manager – Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence to lead and deliver multiple client projects. The role demands a balance of technical expertise, project leadership, and client engagement. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing scalable data and BI solutions that enable actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multiple DW/BI projects across clients, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Design and implement data architecture, ETL/ELT workflows, and BI reporting solutions.
- Be hands-on in solution design, development, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Mentor and guide teams of data engineers and BI developers on best practices and technical execution.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Establish and maintain data governance, quality, and security frameworks across projects.
- Stay current with evolving data, cloud, and analytics technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in data warehousing, BI, or analytics, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent projects in a client-facing setup.
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT tools (ADF, SSIS, AWS Glue, Matillion, Informatica, Python etc.).
- Experience with Snowflake, Azure Fabric/Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms Azure/AWS and related data services, storage, compute.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services domains is a strong advantage.

Pay range and compensation package
Location: Hyderabad or Chennai
Experience: 10 to 15 + years in Data Warehousing, BI, and Data Engineering (including 5+ years in technical leadership)
Industry experience required: Recent experience in U.S. Banking or Financial Services
