Role Overview
We are building a next-generation healthcare platform (EMR, Patient Intake, Admin Systems, and Analytics-driven workflows) and are looking for a Technology Architect who can take end-to-end ownership of system design, scalability, and production reliability.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work closely with Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Business teams to design systems that directly influence patient experience, conversion, and operational efficiency.
This role is not limited to high-level design — you are expected to drive execution, solve real-world problems, and ensure production success.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End System Design & Ownership
Design and evolve scalable, reliable systems supporting patient-facing and internal workflowsDefine architecture patterns, service boundaries, and communication strategies across the platformEnsure systems are built with a strong focus on performance, resiliency, and maintainabilityTranslate business requirements into robust technical solutions
Workflow & Product Architecture
Design complex, multi-step user journeys such as patient intake flows and onboarding experiencesBuild flexible systems capable of handling dynamic workflows, conditional logic, and state-driven interactionsEnsure seamless user experience even in failure scenarios or partial system outages
Data & Insights Enablement
Enable accurate tracking of user journeys and business-critical events across the platformDesign systems that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-makingWork closely with analytics teams to ensure data consistency, traceability, and usability for dashboards and insights
Platform Reliability & Production Readiness
Define and implement strategies for system stability, fault tolerance, and graceful degradationEnsure readiness for production environments, including deployment strategies, rollback mechanisms, and environment configurationsDrive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and debugging capabilities
Integration & External Systems Handling
Architect integrations with external platforms such as providers, partners, and third-party servicesEnsure reliable handling of asynchronous workflows, event-driven processes, and external dependenciesDesign mechanisms for retry handling, idempotency, and failure recovery
Performance & Scalability
Identify bottlenecks across the system and implement optimizations for speed and efficiencyDesign solutions that can scale with increasing user traffic and business growthImplement caching, load handling, and efficient data access strategies
Security & Compliance
Ensure systems are designed with strong data protection and secure access patternsHandle sensitive data responsibly with appropriate safeguardsAlign architecture with healthcare and data privacy standards
Engineering Excellence & Governance
Define and enforce best practices for system design, coding standards, and reviewsConduct architecture and design reviews to ensure quality and consistencyMentor engineers and guide teams in building scalable and maintainable solutionsDrive improvements in engineering maturity, quality, and delivery predictability

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in designing and building scalable web platforms and distributed systemsDeep understanding of modern web technologies and backend systemsExperience working with event-driven systems, APIs, and third-party integrationsHands-on experience with cloud platforms and deployment pipelinesStrong knowledge of data modeling, tracking systems, and analytics integrationProven ability to handle production systems at scaleExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on real-world scenarios
Preferred Experience
Experience working in healthcare, EMR, or regulated domainsExposure to growth platforms, analytics tracking, or conversion optimization systemsFamiliarity with modern tools and frameworks used in scalable product developmentExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
