Your work profile
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant / Business Analyst with a strong background in accounting or finance, and hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Odoo’s accounting and finance modules with experience in localization – such as tax structures, reporting standards, and statutory compliance – for any country or region.
Candidates with exposure to Indian localization (GST, TDS, e-Invoicing) or international accounting systems (EU VAT, US GAAP, etc.) will be highly preferred.
This role requires end-to-end project involvement: from requirements gathering and configuration to UAT, deployment, and post-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional Odoo solutions.
- Implement and configure core Odoo modules including Accounting, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing etc.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting localization (based on project geography).
- Collaborate with technical teams for customizations or API integrations.
- Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and conduct end-user training.
- Provide support during UAT, Go-Live, and stabilization phases.
- Work closely with clients to troubleshoot and optimize business workflows in Odoo.
Core Competencies Required:
- Strong knowledge of Odoo functional modules, particularly Finance & Accounting.
- Proven experience in implementing localized accounting (Indian or international).
- Familiarity with Odoo deployment platforms such as Odoo.sh.
- Clear understanding of project lifecycles: onboarding, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills & Exposure:
- Experience in Retail, Trading, Manufacturing, or Services domains.
- Experience in Odoo versions 15, 16, 17 and 18.
- Knowledge of e-Invoicing, statutory reporting, and compliance tools.
- Odoo Certification is an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
- Professional qualifications like CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) are a plus.
