Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical LL.B. student for the role of Techno-Legal Research Intern. This position is purely research-oriented and non-litigious, focusing on supporting our consulting projects through rigorous legal analysis and technical adaptation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on domestic and international legal frameworks
- Analyze technical standards and benchmarks to ensure legal compliance in consulting projects.
- Monitor and report on emerging trends in cyber law, digital forensics methodologies, and global data privacy regulations.
- Synthesize complex technical processes into legally sound research memorandums.
- Draft formal legal advisories, white papers, and research reports on techno-legal subjects.
- Prepare drafts for privacy policies, data processing agreements (DPAs), and internal compliance audit reports.
- Participate in client meetings to assist in the elicitation of technical and legal requirements.
- Document client specifications and translate them into actionable research or project tasks.
- Act as a liaison between the technical forensics team and the legal advisory team to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
- Excellent Research and Analytical Skills to interpret complex legal and technical information
- Effective Communication abilities for writing reports and collaborating with teams
- Interest or expertise in Cyber Law and digital evidence analysis is an advantage
- Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as the DPDP Act, is a plus
- Pursuing or completing a degree in Law, Cyber Law, or a related field
- Proficiency in using online research tools and legal databases
Internship Terms
- Work Schedule: 5 Days a week (Monday – Friday)
- Work Mode: Hybrid
- Work Hours: Flexible; performance is strictly measured by output quality and deadline compliance.
- Stipend: Subject to performance during the interview and assessment process
