Techno-Functional SAP Time & Payroll Consultant

Role Overview:

This is a techno-functional SAP consultant role focused on solution design and business alignment rather than hands-on configuration. The consultant will work closely with HR and Payroll stakeholders to design SAP Payroll and Time Management solutions while coordinating with implementation vendors responsible for system configuration.

Key Skills / Experience

• 8+ years of experience with SAP Payroll (US & Canada) and SAP Time Management
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements
• Experience designing payroll schemas, wage types, and time management rules
• Experience working with BSI Tax Factory and US tax regulations
• Ability to work with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders
• Experience guiding implementation partners performing system configuration

Nice to Have

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central or EC Payroll
• Experience in global payroll transformation programs
• Familiarity with SAP Benefits configuration

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and Payroll stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP payroll/time solutions
• Lead solution design discussions for SAP Payroll and Time Management
• Guide technical implementation partners responsible for configuration
• Support integration design with BSI Tax Factory and other payroll systems
• Participate in architecture discussions, blueprinting, and design workshops
• Support testing cycles and UAT validation
