Job Title: Techno-Functional Consultant – Dynamics 365
Experience: 10+ Years
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced *Techno-Functional Consultant* with deep expertise in *Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC)* to lead implementations, customizations, and support engagements. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring optimal system design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end *implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central* across multiple modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.)
* Conduct *requirement gathering workshops*, GAP analysis, and business process mapping
* Design and document *functional specifications (FRDs)* and solution blueprints
* Configure core modules including:
* General Ledger, AP/AR
* Inventory & Warehouse Management
* Sales & Purchasing
* Manufacturing / Jobs (Project Accounting)
* Provide *UAT support*, training, and user documentation
* Advise clients on *best practices and standard BC capabilities*
Technical Responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into *technical design documents (TDDs)*
* Work with developers on:
* *AL development*
* Extensions and customizations
* Report development (RDLC / Word layouts)
* Oversee integrations with:
* Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
* Third-party applications and APIs
* Support *data migration strategy and execution*
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Experience
* 10+ years in ERP consulting, with *5+ years specifically in Dynamics NAV / Business Central*
* Proven track record of *multiple end-to-end implementations*
Functional Expertise
* Strong knowledge of:
* Finance & Accounting processes
* Supply Chain / Distribution
* Manufacturing (preferred)
Technical Expertise
* Hands-on experience with:
* *AL language and extensions*
* Visual Studio Code
* Web services, APIs, and integrations
