Job Description
As a Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC).
Responsibilities
- Hands on experience in GTAW welding, Laser welding and welding automation. Candidate should be able to do welding with automation setup independently.
- Familiar with welding metallurgies like SS 316 , Hastelloy, Ni alloys.
- Knowledge of working of welding machines, Argon plus Hydrogen gas flow systems, He leak testing, welding torches, ceramics, nozzles, tungsten sharpeners and automation systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates having experience of welding automation in clean room environment (10K class) will be preferred.
- Candidates with knowledge of cleaning processes and handling, maintaining ultrasonically clean parts during welding will be preferred.
- Knowledge of cutting, polishing and etching of welded metal specimens
- Handling of microscopes for weld geometry evaluations.
Preferred Industries - Aerospace , Pressure vessel, Piping , Oil and Gas, Precision Welding etc.
