Job Description:-
Mechanical Assembly & Installation in Hydropower Plants including pipeline works
Assist in alignment, leveling, and centering activities
Measure dimensions, clearances, run-outs, and alignment using precision instruments.
Use vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, feeler gauges, depth gauges, and other major measuring tools.
Verify installation parameters as per instructions by the site engineer.
Perform dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipment.
Replace worn-out components such as bushes, bearings, seals, fasteners, and gaskets.
Educational Qualification:
ITI OR DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL/ANY
Experience Required:
MINIMUM 5-10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN HYDROPOWER PLANTS OR THERMAL POWER PALNTS OR ANY OTHER PLANTS LIKE CEMENT PLANTS/HEAVY MACHINERY INDUSTRIES
Technical Skills Required:
Mechanical fitting and assembly of heavy equipment.
Precision measurement using vernier, micrometer, dial gauges & other major mechanical tools
Alignment, clearance checking, and installation of mechanical components.
Basic knowledge of bearings, shaft seals, shaft rotating mechanism and hydraulic systems.
Safe use of power tools & lifting equipment at site during erection.
Additional Skills Required:
Communication Skills
Other: ABILITY TO DO MINOR WELDING WORKS AT SITE IF REQUIRED.
