Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an OT Technician based in Brahmapur. The OT Technician will assist in preparing operating rooms, sterilizing surgical instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is functioning properly. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and managing surgical supplies and inventory. The role also involves coordinating with the surgical team to ensure efficient operation workflows and patient care during surgeries.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in operating room procedures, sterilization techniques, and equipment maintenance
- Understanding of surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and manage time effectively during procedures
- Attention to detail, precision in handling medical supplies, and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment
- Basic understanding of patient care and post-operative procedures
- Diploma or certification as an OT Technician or a related healthcare qualification
- Experience in neurosurgical procedures is an added advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
