Role Description The Technician role at eFixMate is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Raipur Area. The technician will respond to scheduled service requests, visit customer locations, diagnose issues, and perform repairs or installations across areas such as electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, appliances, AC units, carpentry work, and basic painting or cleaning tasks, based on their core expertise. Daily responsibilities include assessing job requirements, ensuring proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, following safety protocols, and documenting completed work in the company’s system. The technician will interact directly with customers, provide clear explanations of work performed, offer recommendations for maintenance or follow-up services, and coordinate with the eFixMate team to manage appointments and parts availability. The role requires punctuality, professionalism, and consistent adherence to quality standards and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical skills in one or more areas such as electrical work, plumbing, appliance repair, AC servicing, carpentry, painting, or professional cleaning.
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately, use appropriate tools safely, and complete installations, repairs, or maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, professional behavior on-site, and the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Basic digital literacy for using mobile apps or devices to receive job assignments, update job status, and maintain service records.
- Commitment to safety standards, including adherence to local regulations, company guidelines, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Prior experience in field service, facilities maintenance, or related technical roles is preferred.
- Relevant vocational training, certification, or ITI/diploma in a technical trade is an advantage.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work within the Greater Raipur Area, including occasional extended hours based on customer needs.
