Responsibilities:
- Create complex product documentation, including technical specifications, datasheets, programming guide, and register documents
- Gather and synthesize information from a variety of internal sources and documents within the organization
- Collaborate with engineering to obtain content and ensure accuracy
- Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content
- Create diagrams and tables to clarify complex ideas
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, and design documentation
- Develop document automation tools to improve efficiency
Required
- 7-10 years writing for semiconductor or embedded system domains
- Ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies
- Results-driven self-starter, able to work independently to achieve success
- Strong time-management skills in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with tools such as FrameMaker, Atlassian tools, Draw.io (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Strong analytical and research abilities and manage multiple documentation projects
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in a science or engineering related field with formal training in Technical Writing, or Bachelor of English, Journalism with experience in hardware industry
- Experience with Mark-down, DITA, XML-structured authoring, single-sourcing principles
