About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Technical Writer to join the Aviso AI Professional Services (PS) team. In this role, you will be the architect of our knowledge ecosystem, managing and maintaining tenant configurations, implementation playbooks, and product functionality guides.
This is a high-autonomy role. While you will have access to leadership for strategic alignment, we are looking for a professional who is self-driven and capable of defining their own guidance and guardrails. You won't just follow a manual; you will build the framework for how documentation should function within a fast-paced AI SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Knowledge Architecture
- Design & Maintain: Create detailed documentation for tenant configurations, onboarding workflows, and complex integrations.
- Asset Development: Produce high-quality implementation guides, SOPs, troubleshooting docs, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Lifecycle Management: Ensure all assets are version-controlled and evolve alongside our rapid product release cycles.
- Structure: Organize and audit documentation repositories to ensure "single source of truth" accessibility for the global PS team.
Product & Functional Mastery
- Deep Dive: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Aviso’s AI-driven functionalities, modules, and workflows.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to translate complex technical logic into clear, actionable internal guides.
Process & Configuration Governance
- Auditability: Maintain meticulous records of tenant-level customizations to ensure operational continuity.
- Standardization: Proactively identify gaps in implementation processes and propose documented standards to improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Mindset
- Self-Direction: Proven ability to work independently, set personal milestones, and define the "how" behind your tasks.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret software applications, APIs, and system workflows without hand-holding.
- Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to explain "the why" behind technical configurations.
- Organization: A natural tendency toward structured thinking and a process-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tools: Experience with Confluence, Notion or specialized tools like MadCap Flare or Document360.
- SaaS Background: Prior exposure to SaaS implementation, CRM platforms, or AI-driven environments.
- Technical Foundation: A basic understanding of databases, APIs, and the SDLC.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, Technical Communication, or a related field.
Role Expectations & Autonomy
At Aviso, we value ownership. As the Technical Writer for PS Operations, you will:
- Own the Standards: You will define the high-quality and structured documentation standards for the organization.
- Drive Proactivity: Don't wait for a request; identify what needs documenting and build the framework to support it.
- Lead Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all knowledge-sharing activities within the PS team.
