Are you a master of communication, equally skilled at crafting in depth technical design documents as well as compelling, presentations in Google Slides? Do you have a passion for technology and a talent for making complex topics accessible to any audience? If this sounds like you, we want you on our team!
We are seeking a versatile Technical Writer to champion our documentation and communication efforts. You will be the creative force turning complex engineering concepts into both world-class written documentation and engaging visual presentations.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, write, and maintain exceptional documentation and presentation materials for our Customers, engineering and product teams.
- Own our Confluence spaces, ensuring content is accurate, structured, and user-friendly. Simultaneously, you'll be creating and refining our library of presentations in Google Slides for training, project overviews, and stakeholder updates.
- Work hand-in-hand with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure all content is technically precise and perfectly aligned with our goals.
- Design and create engaging onboarding materials, including written guides and introductory presentations, to help new team members get up to speed quickly and effectively.
- Craft a wide range of content, from detailed API documentation and architectural overviews to day-saving troubleshooting guides and compelling visual presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain a consistent voice, style, and format across all our documentation and presentations, making our knowledge base intuitive and professional.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, content creator, or similar role within a software development environment.
- Proven experience creating high-quality presentations and slides using tools like Google Slides, Draw.IO and Confluence
- Experience with or exposure to technologies like Google Cloud (Must have) Flutter, UI/UX, Strapi, APIs, etc
- Impeccable written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English. You know how to tailor your message to the medium and the audience.
- You are a self-starter who can manage priorities, work autonomously, and take initiative to improve our communication assets.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or API documentation tools (like Swagger/OpenAPI).
- A good eye for presentation design and visual information layout.
- Previous experience in developer relations, software engineering, or training.
