We are looking for a
Technical Writer with
3–5 years of experience in Adobe InDesign to join our team in
Mumbai. This role focuses on developing high-quality documentation for the
Mechanical and Marine domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Authoring: Create and edit technical content/documents using Adobe InDesign.
- Technical Writing: Translate mechanical specifications into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Template Compliance: Apply styles according to defined standard templates to ensure visual consistency.
- Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous checks for grammar, syntax, and formatting based on style guides.
- Project Management: Provide time estimations for delivery and maintain checklists for all deliverables.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure all text is technically accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: BE (Mechanical) or Diploma (Mechanical).
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in Technical Writing and Adobe InDesign.
- Domain Knowledge: Mechanical engineering; experience in the Marine/Boating sector is a plus.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Mandatory Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
