About the Role:
We are seeking a high-velocity Video Editor to join our Knowledge Center within the Customer Support department. This is a junior-to-mid-level, execution-heavy role focused on turning raw screen recordings from our product experts into polished, easy-to-follow tutorials and "What’s New" videos.
You will be the master of assembly - stitching together snippets, cleaning up audio, and ensuring our users have a seamless visual learning experience. The ideal candidate thrives on high-volume output and takes pride in clearing a queue with speed and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce a high volume of short-form technical videos (approx. 5 per day), typically ranging from 1 to 12 minutes.
- Expertly stitch together multiple raw recordings, trim quiet pauses, and remove unnecessary filler to create a cohesive narrative flow.
- Enhance sound quality, normalize audio levels, and ensure screen recordings are crisp and clear.
- Apply standard OnceHub intro/outro templates and basic static overlays to maintain a unified look across the Knowledge Center.
- Manage your own queue within Jira and Sheets, ensuring all "feature update" and "how-to" videos are published in sync with product releases.
- Partner closely with Technical Writers and Customer Support Specialists to translate their raw screen captures into professional help assets.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in video editing or digital content creation.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, or similar.
- A "speed-first" mindset with the ability to meet strict daily deadlines without sacrificing technical accuracy.
- Superior English comprehension to accurately manage captions and trim dialogue effectively.
- A reliable home workstation with sufficient processing power and RAM to handle rapid rendering and exporting.
- A degree from a reputable university.
