Position Name: Technical Trainer

Location : Pune
Purpose
Conduct Technical Trainings to dealer staff of Group Brands (VW, Skoda, Audi & Porsche) to disseminate technical knowledge & repair capabilities on product & technologies in market, complying to standards, Methods, Quality, Brand values & essence. Keeping abreast of the Technologies, Repair & Diagnostic methods, Processes by conducting simulations / research & training in easy to understand way. Develop Training Aids & methods to enhance effectiveness in difficult to understand subjects in stipulated time & motivating participants. Upkeep & 5S of Workshop & vehicles & learning ambiance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct Technical Trainings for Dealer Staff (domestic & international) –includes Face to Face, Digital modes & On-Job Training complying to the VW Group standards in relation to Training Methods, Quality, CI/CD, Brand values and the Brand essence.
- Self-Learning by performing simulation & research on the training vehicles to explore various technologies, systems, tools & testers. Conducting self-studies on aggregates for identifying uniqueness enabling teaching it to the participants.
- Support training Content Update / Create training Worksheets / practical exercise, questionnaire & Tests for various training modules on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with local & HQ Training, QA, R&D, TSC, OE Supplier & factory teams for Product Know-How, Technology & Assembly information.
- Maintenance, upkeep & inventory of Tools, equipment & Vehicles allotted while adhering to 5S during & after Training Delivery in Classroom & Workshop.
- Identify “difficult to understand” Training topics while imparting trainings and develop Training Aids for simplifying, improving the Training quality & saving time. (Eg: Short Videos, Interactive PPT’s, cut sections & simulators)
- Perform Training Need Analysis, develop/suggest amendments to content team & Customize Existing International Modules to market specific requirements.
- Evaluation of training & personnel development measures based on the efficiency and effectiveness criteria & Timely preparation & release of Training & Evaluation reports including individualized participant feedback, recommendations.
- Prepare, Organize & Conduct the Regional and National Rounds of Technical Skill championships for dealers Staff @ all Training Academies
- Attending Train the Trainer sessions for development & for Certifications.
