Role Summary
As a Technical Trainer – AI & App Development (K–12), you will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences that introduce school students to the world of AI, coding, and real-world application building.
This is not a traditional teaching role. You’ll be helping students build AI-powered applications from scratch using tools like Python, Streamlit, and OpenAI Agents SDK—while simplifying complex concepts into intuitive, exciting learning moments.
You’ll combine teaching, mentoring, and light content adaptation, ensuring that students don’t just learn concepts, but actually **create, experiment, and showcase projects.
If you enjoy breaking down complex ideas, building cool AI demos, and inspiring young learners to explore technology, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver live/interactive sessions for K–12 students on AI, Python, and application development.
- Teach students how to build AI-powered apps using tools like OpenAI APIs/Agents SDK and Streamlit.
- Simplify concepts like prompting, automation, and basic AI workflows into student-friendly explanations.
- Guide students step-by-step in building hands-on projects(chatbots, simple AI tools, mini apps).
- Support students during coding exercises, debugging, and project building.
- Adapt existing curriculum content to suit different student learning levels and pace.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and experimentation through interactive teaching methods.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools and bring fresh examples into sessions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in teaching, training, or mentoring (edtech experience is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience building apps using Streamlit (or similar frameworks).
- Basic working knowledge of OpenAI APIs / LLMs / AI tools.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging, and student-friendly manner.
- Experience conducting live sessions, workshops, or bootcamps.
- Strong communication and classroom engagement skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with school students (K–12).
- Exposure to OpenAI Agents SDK or building AI workflows/agents.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI use cases.
- Experience creating mini-projects like chatbots, AI assistants, or automation tools.
- Background in coding platforms, hackathons, or STEM programs for students.
- Passion for education, storytelling, and making learning fun.
