Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist
Location: Trichy
Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)
Experience Required: 3-5 Years
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and continuously improving training, assessment, and knowledge management initiatives. The role focuses on content creation, training delivery, process learning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support organizational capability building and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training & Learning Delivery
• Conduct HIPAA, RCM orientation, new hire, process and refresher trainings.
• Deliver leadership and management training programs.
• Support supplement and specialized training programs based on business needs.
• Facilitate trainer production and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Ensure training effectiveness through structured learning methodologies.
2. Assessments & Evaluations
• Design and conduct process-specific assessments.
• Evaluate trainee performance and learning outcomes.
• Support competency mapping and skill validation initiatives.
• Maintain assessment documentation and feedback records.
3. L&D Content Development
• Create and maintain training content, including PPTs and training decks, SOPs and process documents, Knowledge bytes and micro-learning materials, and video-based learning content
• Perform content research and develop training calendars.
• Ensure training materials align with business, compliance, and quality standards.
4. Process Learning & Excellence
• Conduct time studies and process analysis.
• Support process learning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to standardize processes.
• Identify learning gaps and recommend improvement actions.
5. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare L&D reports and dashboards.
• Develop training plans and learning roadmaps.
• Create agendas and Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Manage email communications related to training and L&D activities.
6. Meetings & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Participate in internal, L&D, leadership, and management meetings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for training alignment.
• Support leadership training and strategic L&D discussions.
• Act as a point of contact for training-related initiatives.
7. Branding & Internal Communication
• Design internal posters and learning-related communication materials.
• Support internal branding initiatives related to training and development.
• Promote learning culture through creative content and campaigns.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of Learning & Development principles
• Knowledge of US Healthcare processes, Insurance AR, Insurance Authorization, Payment Posting and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in training delivery and facilitation.
• Instructional design and content development skills.
• Process documentation and SOP writing expertise.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with exposure to process excellence initiatives.
Tools & Technologies
• MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Learning content creation tools (video, presentations, visual design).
• Reporting and documentation tools.
• LMS exposure (preferred).
Education & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (HR, Healthcare, Management preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience in Operations, Learning & Development, Training or Process Excellence roles.
• Experience in a healthcare BPM / RCM environment is an advantage
