Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Trainer role based in Bengaluru. The Technical Trainer will deliver structured technical training sessions in areas such as Java, Python, full-stack development, and related technologies, using Tap Academy’s flipped classroom methodology. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, conducting live coding classes, assessing learner progress, and providing individual feedback and mentoring. The role involves collaborating with the curriculum team to refine course content, aligning training with current industry requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching methods. The Technical Trainer will also support placement-related activities by helping learners build job-ready skills and confidence for technical interviews and real-world projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Training and Technical Trainer skills, with experience delivering structured technical courses or bootcamps.
- Candidates should possess Training & Development and Training skills, including curriculum implementation, learner assessment, and classroom facilitation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, full-stack development, data structures, or related technologies; hands-on coding experience is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with modern teaching methodologies, LMS platforms, and blended or flipped classroom environments is an advantage.
- Ability to mentor and motivate learners, manage classroom dynamics, and adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an interest in staying updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
