Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Trainer role based in Chennai. The Technical Trainer will deliver interactive training sessions on technical and employability topics to students, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with curriculum objectives. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting classroom and lab-based sessions, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves customizing training approaches based on learner needs, maintaining training records, and collaborating with the training and academic teams to enhance course content. The Technical Trainer is expected to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant tools, technologies, and best practices into the training programs.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Technical Training and experience working as a Technical Trainer in academic or corporate environments.
- Proficiency in Training & Development and Training methodologies, including designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and learner-friendly manner.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics, engage diverse groups of learners, and adapt teaching styles to different learning needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in training or education are an advantage.
- Comfort with using presentation tools, learning management systems, and basic digital platforms to support training delivery.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centric mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
