Role Description The Technical Trainer role at NovaMinds Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Salem. The Technical Trainer will deliver classroom and lab-based training on Robotics, AI, and IoT to school students, using NovaMinds learning kits and curricula. This role involves planning and conducting training sessions, demonstrating technical concepts in an accessible way, and guiding students through practical projects. The Technical Trainer will also assess learner progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods based on student needs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with academic coordinators, maintaining training equipment, documenting training activities, and contributing to the continuous improvement of training materials.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical training capabilities, including experience as Technical Trainers and in Technical Training.
- Candidates should possess skills in Training & Development and hands-on Training delivery across classroom and lab environments.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to school-age learners and educators.
- Relevant knowledge in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT, with the ability to conduct practical demonstrations and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with students or in an academic setting, with a learner-centric and inclusive training approach.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing training schedules, and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff.
- Comfort with using digital tools, learning platforms, and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software used in training.
