ABOUT AURIC AI
Auric AI is building India's next-generation Multi-INT Search and Reasoning platform for defense and intelligence applications. Our systems process large volumes of multi-source data, including satellite imagery, SAR, signals, and documents, to generate actionable intelligence at scale.
We are a small, high-output founding team. Everyone here operates with high autonomy and high ownership. We are building to compete with the best in the world.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are expanding our talent acquisition function and looking for a second person to join the team. You will be recruiting for some of the most technically demanding roles in India: AI researchers, computer vision engineers, and applied AI engineers.
This is a full recruiting role. You will own the process end-to-end, from sourcing through to offer. It is not a coordination or scheduling role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end hiring pipelines for technical roles across AI research, computer vision, and applied engineering
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, research publications, and academic and professional networks
- Conduct first round screens and structured interviews, including asking technical questions to assess how candidates think
- Use AI tools to evaluate technical responses and build your own domain understanding over time
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline for current and future roles
- Work closely with the founding team to continuously refine the hiring bar and interview process
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The single most important thing we look for is first-principles thinking. We want someone who, when faced with a problem, breaks it down from the ground up rather than reaching for a template or a convention.
Beyond that, we value:
- Recent graduate from the 2025 or upcoming 2026 batch, freshers strongly preferred
- An engineering or technical background is a significant bonus, but not a requirement
- High agency: you identify what needs doing and act on it without being told
- Direct communicator: you say what you mean and ask when you do not know
- Comfortable operating without a playbook in a fast-moving environment
- Genuine curiosity about how things work, evidence that you have gone deep on something
WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
Prior HR or recruiting experience is not required and is not something we are weighing. We are not looking for candidates who rely on process over judgment, or who need extensive structure before they can act.
