Role DescriptionThe Technical Support Specialist – French is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for remote work. This position is part of the Service Desk team and is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to clients, primarily supporting French-speaking users.
The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing service requests, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The candidate will work across a range of technologies within End-User Computing (EUC) environments, ensuring seamless user experience and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Service Desk support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and virtual desktop (VDI) issues
- Support and manage Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (O365) environments
- Provide support for Citrix and Omnissa (VMware Horizon) VDI environments
- Assist with endpoint solutions such as IGEL OS and devices
- Maintain clear and effective communication with French-speaking customers
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents while meeting SLAs
- Document issues, resolutions, and processes accurately
Qualifications & Skills- Proven experience in a Service Desk / Technical Support role
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience with:
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Citrix environments
- Omnissa (VMware Horizon) VDI
- IGEL endpoints (preferred)
- Excellent customer support and communication skills
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid and collaborative environment
- Good time management and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in EUC environments
- Flexible to work in shift rotation
