Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Support Specialist role based in Gurugram. The Technical Support Specialist will provide frontline technical assistance to users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Responsibilities include responding to support tickets, calls, and emails, documenting issues and resolutions, and escalating complex problems when needed. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime, high system performance, and adherence to service-level agreements. The specialist will also focus on maintaining strong customer relationships by providing clear communication, timely updates, and guidance on best practices to improve user experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve user issues efficiently.
- Proven Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and build trust.
- Minimum 6 months experience is mandatory.
- Solid Analytical Skills to identify patterns, determine root causes, and recommend preventive or improvement measures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language.
- Experience working with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and standard office productivity software.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a service desk, helpdesk, or similar technical support environment, preferably within consulting or BPO sectors, is beneficial.
